Passengers looted in Venkatadri express

A gang of robbers looted the passengers in Venkatadri Express on Friday afternoon.

They entered the train near Gooty railway station in Anantapur district and snatched away the valuables worth Rs.2.5 lakhs from the passengers.

Later, they pulled the chain and made good their escape.  The passengers complained about the robbery to Gooty railway police.
