HSPA submitted a representation to state’s education department

Hyderabad: Demanding regularization of school fees in the state, the Hyderabad Schools Parents Association (HSPA) has submitted a representation to state's education department to form District Fee Regulation Committees (DFRC).

The HSPA members also said that buying of books, stationery etc. from the respective schools should be made optional as they charge high.

One of the member’s suggestion in the representation read as, "Define school fees in terms of total payment made by a parent to the school (including those for transport, food, activities). It is important to define the school fees as such to avoid schools using different nomenclatures to circumvent the various regulations."

“HSPA has been assured by the government that the final draft of the GO would be circulated to the general public and HSPA for their opinions before the final notification is issued," said Aravinda Jata, executive member of HSPA.
