Parents Commit Suicide Following Son’s Mysterious Death In School

Guntur: Parents of a boy committed suicide here on Sunday following the death of their only child under mysterious circumstances in Sri Chaitanya Techno School.

According to the school management, the student Vamshi died in the school premises due to fever. However, due to unknown reasons they delayed in reporting Vamshi's death to his parents. Not able to find out the reasons for their son's death and losing their only child, his parents - Naveena and Chandrasekhar - committed suicide by hanging in the early hours of Sunday, their relatives said.

Students organisations called for a stern action against the management of the school. They decried the delay in informing the boy's parents of his death. YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) and CPM expressed support to the student organisations for their cause.
