Parakala Prabhakar appointed Chandrababu's media advisor

Visalandhra Mahasabha Convener Parakala Prabhakar is going to take over as the Media Advisor to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister. The necessary orders will soon be released within the next two days.

He will get cabinet rank. Parakala, who left Praja Rajyam Party, has since been keeping a low profile and is away from active politics.

However, a section of TDP leaders are unhappy over Parakala Prabhakar being selected for the coveted post.

However, sources say that the fact that he is the husband of Union Minister Nirmala Sitharaman may have weighed in his favour. Prabhakar, who has wide contacts in the media, was the spokesperson of both the BJP and the PRP. He is also into market surveys and image building.
