P K Mahanty named as new Chief Secretary

State Government on Tuesday issued orders appointing Prasanna Kumar Mahanty as Chief Secretary following superannuation of present incumbent

Minnie Mathew on April 30. Mahanty is likely to take charge from Minnie Mathew today and assumed charge on Wednesday.  P K Mahanty, 1979 batch IAS officer of AP cadre was presently working as commissioner of Land Administration. He was promoted in the Central Government as Special secretary from Additional Secretary. Meanwhile, IV Krishna Rao was appointed as Commissioner of Land Administration.
