Over 70 trains cancelled in view of cyclone 'Hudhud'

Hyderabad: East Coast Railway and South Central Railway have cancelled over 70 trains while short terminating or diverting many others in view of cyclonic storm Hudhud, which is set to cross Andhra Pradesh coast on Sunday.

East Coast Railway announced cancellation of 13 express and four passenger trains scheduled to run on Sunday and Monday.
Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam Express scheduled to leave Secunderabad Sunday will be short terminated at Tenali and will return back from Tenali.
East Coast Railway, which has its headquarters in Bhubaneswar, had Friday announced cancellation of 35 trains and diversion of several other trains.
South Central Railway, which is headquartered here, has also cancelled several express and passengers trains originating or terminating in the zone or passing through it.

The trains cancelled include Hyderabad-Visakhapatnam Godavari Express in both directions, Bhubaneswar-Bangalore Cantonment Premium Special, Vijayawada-Visakhapatnam Ratnachal Express in both directions, Visakhapatnam-Tirupati Express, Bhubaneswar-Secunderabad Express, Bhubaneswar - Tirupati Express, Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad Duronto, Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad Garibrath Express and Puri-Tirupati Express.
