Our leaders can't be lured : YSRCP

YSRCP MLAs said that ruling TDP is acting in an undemocratic way. They seriously condemned the actions of the ruling party.

They met the Governor E.S.L.Narasimhan on Wednesday to inform him that TDP is encouraging the migrations of leaders of other parties into it and thus making the democracy a mockery.

They also requested the governor to order the state election commission to conduct the elections for the post of municipal chairpersons, mayors, MPPs and ZP Chairpersons in the state. “Governor favorably responded to our request on the issue,” said the MLAs.

They said that they would file a PIL in court on the attitude of the ruling party.

YSRCP MLAs clarified their party leaders won’t leave their party irrespective of the cheap tactics used by TDP to lure them.

“It is not proper for the state government to do so,” said the legislators.
