OU students burn KCR in effigy

Telangana Chief Minister KCR’s announcement that he would build houses for the poor and the landless on the lands belonging to the Osmania University has not gone down well with the student community in Osmania University.
The students in OU on Tuesday burnt KCR in effigy and registered their protest. They demanded that the chief minister take back his statement and said that they would not tolerate any alienation of the OU lands. OU students have for long been fighting the alienation of the university lands.
On Monday, KCR has announced at Parsigutta area in Secunderabad that he would build houses for them in the lands belonging to the Osmania University.
