OU students attack Swagath Grand

Osmania University students on Monday staged protest and attacked Swagath Grand in Habsiguda.

Alleging the Hotel was built in OU lands illegaly, students demanded immediate evacuation. They pelted stones at the restaurant and gave slogans stating the OU lands should never be encroached by anyone. They warned, "If anyone try to touch OU lands, we are not going to be silent. Even an Inch of OU should not be occupied. Whoever tries to take our lands away will not be forgiven" students said.
Telangana Students Wing and few other student groups organized this attack. As soon as police got the information they arrived at site and tried to calm them down. Failing to calm the students down, cops arrested student leaders and took them away from the site. From the moment KCR announced that he will built houses for poor in OU lands, students are agitating and protesting the move.
