Amaravati: Opposition YSR Congress Party is going to move a no-confidence motion against the Speaker in AP Assembly. Leader of Opposition YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Thursday announced that his party will move the motion as they lost respect on and trust in the Speaker who is working only at the behest of Chief Minister and the ruling party members in the House.

Following a fierce confrontation between the treasury benches and the Opposition over the involvement of Prattipati Pulla Rao in the disbursement of AgriGold properties, the Opposition Leader said the ruling party had diverted the subject to shield its minister.

Earlier Jagan alleged that Prattipati Pulla Rao's wife Venkayamma purchased the properties from the tainted AgriGold even after the case was under active consideration of the High Court. He demanded a judicial probe into the scam to do justice to around 20 lakh depositors who lost their money.
