Operation Chabutra: 222 Minors Held For Driving Without License 

Hyderabad: The South Zone police arrested 222 minors as part of ‘Operation Chabutra’ for wandering around streets and creates nuisance late night on Tuesday. The boys aged between14-16 was rounded up and their vehicles were seized.

The parents of the minors were called upon at Quli Qutub Shah stadium on Wednesday and counseling was given to the minors and were later let off.

South Zone DCP V Satyanarayana said that stringent action will be taken if the offenders repeat the offence saying that they would be booked under section 336 of the IPC and sent to judicial remand

A case was registered against parents of the offenders under section 180 of the MV Act.
