Hyderabad: EAMCET-3 held on Sunday witnessed a low attendance as only 66.25 percent candidates attended the exam, while 90 percent attendance was recorded for EAMCET-II.

Telangana government conducted the medical entrance test for the third time after paper leak issue surfaced in July.

A total of 37,199 candidates appeared for the exam out of 56,153 applicants and 18,954 gave the test a miss

An official from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad (JNTUH) said that students might have skipped the exam as some of them went ahead with their NEET score and there was also a delay for conducting the exam.

A press release by JNTU-H stated that highest turnout was witnessed in Hyderabad as 6,939 gave the exam and Tirupati observed the lowest with only 1,751 candidates.
