On Teachers’ Day, Ram Gopal Varma exhorts students to ditch teachers and learn from Google

Director/ Producer Ram Gopal Varma’s tweet either tickles the bunny bone or ruffle someone’s feather. The director through his Twitter handle criticized several actors including Rajinikanth on several occasions. Meanwhile, on Teachers’ Day, the Bollywood director took to Twitter handle to voice his opinion on the negative impact that the teachers who taught him in schools and colleges had on him.

In a series of Tweets, he stated that he hated all his teachers and he bunked classes to watch movies. That’s why he became a film director. He further said that he became more successful than all his teachers and that proved that he knew much more than all his teachers.

In yet another tweet he stated “More than from teachers, I learnt from bullies in class who gave my first insights into rebel psychology which I employed in Shiva, Satya etc.’’

“The worst days of my life were when I was being forcefully taught by my various teachers at school and college,’’ the director said in another tweet. ``My sincere advice to all youngsters on #UnHappyTeachersDay is to not waste time with teachers and learn only from Google.’’
