On his 64th birthday, Vijayamma offers a glimpse into YSR

He was the son of the masses; the reason behind millions of smiles.  For scores, he was a shoulder to cry on. He was the most powerful leader a state could ever have and was loved like none could ever imagine. When he left the world, the state tore down to ramshackles. A man of his words, Yeduguri Sandinti Rajasekhara Reddy, will stand high in the hearts of his subjects, now and forever. On his 64th birthday, we pay him tribute and talk about what made him, that none could ever be - the best Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.

Many of his followers and supporters want to know what YSR's habits and way of life was.. We hear about YSR's life in his wife, YS Vijayamma's words:
Nature:
As a CM, he used to meet people in Praja Darbar. He understood their problems by looking into their eyes. He used to say, our eyes alone speak when we are sad or troubled. Almost 60% of the people who would come, suffered from one health problem or the other. When there was no Arogyasri scheme, he used to help them with money from the CM's relief fund. Often he would give his own money for tickets, clothes and tablets.

He sent money to the people who sent letters to him saying that they did not have the means to take care of their medical expenses.
