Now, Telangana junior colleges to get mid-day meal

Karimnagar: Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari on Friday said that mid-day meal scheme would be introduced in 11th and 12th classes at all the government-run junior colleges in the state soon.

At present the scheme is in operation only in schools. Addressing a review meeting of education department at the Collectorate in Karimnagar, Srihari said all possible steps have been taken to increase the enrolment of students in class12th.

Drinking water and toilets will be provided in all the Government junior colleges, he added.
