Now, KCR wants special status for Telangana

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao on Friday demanded special status to Telangana too.

He made this demand when the chairman and members of the 14th Finance Commission met KCR on Friday. 

Seeking financial aid for various programmes, KCR also demanded special status to newly carved out Telangana state for its development.

The TRS leaders also explained the importance of various programmes including Haritha Haram, Intensive Household Survey, Hyderabad Safe & Smart City etc before the 14th Finance Commission.
KCR is all set to host dinner at Falaknuma Palace on 19th September in honor of Finance Commission members.
