Notice to 60 shops in city over security lapse

Post intelligence failure leading to twin blasts that rocked the city last month, the police is making every effort to assure the public of security. The department is on high alert conducting surprise checks at all the crowded places in the city—shopping malls, buses and hotels to prevent any untoward incidents.

The bomb squad was seen conducting a search at various business establishments and temples in Secunderabad area on Tuesday.

It is learnt that police has sent notices to 60 shops that failed the security check.
