22 films have been selected out of the 230 entries by a 12-member jury

Hyderabad: Out of six Telugu film entries, none was selected for the prestigious 47th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in the Indian Panorama section to be held in Goa from November 20.

The only redeeming factor for the Telugu cinema is that 'Baahubali' has been included in it by virtue of being declared as the best feature film of the 63rd National Film Awards 2015; not on its merits.

CV Reddy, a prominent Telugu producer, was also the part of 12-member jury who said that although six Telugu films were sent as entries, none could be selected as they have to select the best that has to be showcased at the festival
