No praises from Delhi for CM Kiran, says Palvai

“No complements from Congress party high command to Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy,” said Rajya Sabha member Palvai Govardhan Reddy on Saturday.

Expressing his anguish at Kiran Reddy, Palvai said the CM was not at all given praises as his office declared after the Chalo Assembly. The Centre will never support acts like suppressive methods on Telangana movement. He came down heavily on the Chief Minister for resorting to oppressive measures to dilute Telangana movement. He asked: “Is he not a CM for entire State? Will he ostracize Telangana people from the State? Can’t you allow the Congress party to survive in Telangana? The Government should feel ashamed for deploying unprecedented security forces to contain the Telangana movement.

The MP said he had felt he was living in an uncivilized society after seeing the security measures taken up during chalo assembly. He criticised Kiran Reddy that his deliberate intention was to sweep out Congress party from Telangana region. The party had lost its glory in Seemandhra with the rule of Kiran Reddy and now he was planning the same in Telangana. Palvai said he would complain the matter to the party high command.
