No one sure if the T Bill was discussed in the Assembly

Confusion prevailed with regard to Telangana bill, and whether discussions on the same took place or not in the Assembly, on Monday.

Legislators from Telangana claimed that discussions did take place, while counterparts said that the bill was only tabled.
Opponents of pro-Telangana legislators vehemently denied any discussions taking place. They pointed that the bill was just introduced.
According to sources, discussions on the bill had indeed not taken place and Speaker Nadendla Manohar is expected to place the issue before BAC again and take opinion of all political parties.
Earlier in the day, chaotic scenes filled the Assembly when Seemaandhra MLAs set fire to copies of the Telangana bill.
