No differences with Jr NTR: Balayya

TDP has been in the news for all the wrong reasons. Of all the controversies surrounding the party, the most juicy gossip is the one involving the rift between Bala Krishna and Jr NTR. The split between them has been talk of the town. After staying mum over the reports of there being differences between the duo, actor Bala Krishna chose to clarify on Saturday. Balayya asserted that he did not have any differences with Jr NTR.

Speaking to media persons at Komaravolu in Tiruvuru constituency, Balayya held Congress party responsible for the present power crisis in the state. He criticized the Congress party in his own style, saying: "Congress is in power and there's darkness in the state."

Reacting to the issue of the use of late NTR's pictures in YSRCP banners, Balayya said he would ask Jr NTR to condemn it. He also said the NTR's grandson would face dire consequences if he failed to do so.

However, Balayya seemed evasive when he had to field questions on TDP's failure to back the no-trust vote against the ruling party in the Assembly. Instead of answering the question, Balayya took the opportunity to slam Congress stating that people were burdened due to Congress' lack of foresight.

When asked if TDP was ignoring Jr NTR, the actor said: "Any person irrespective of his age would get importance in the TDP."

Balayya also asserted that Chandrababu Naidu would be the Chief Minister if TDP came back to power. He will soon be a part of active politics, but would not interfere in the selection of party candidates in 2014 elections, he added.
