Celebrity jeweller and diamond service provider Nirav Modi, his brother, wife and an enterprise companion were booked for allegedly cheating Punjab National Bank of over Rs 11000 crores.

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) carried out raids at 21 places in Mumbai and Surat on February 3. The diamond merchant Nirav Modi has been booked in a cheating case.

Nirav Modi's scam has taken the social media by storm. Several tweets and jokes accusing the NDA government were shown up on the Twitter.
