Hyderabad, Minister for Panchayat Raj & Rural Water Supply Jana Reddy on Thursday said that there was no need to amended the Telangana bill.
Speaking to reporters, he said that in the State Assembly the bill could only be discussed but could not be amended. He asserted that the next elections will take place in the new state.
When asked what did he think about the extension given to the Assembly to discuss the T bill, he said he will give his opinion when the extension does take place.
He added that Congress president Sonia Gandhi will not back down despite of all the hurdles on the way to bifurcation.
