Not Rajinikanth, But Diwali Box Office Winners Are Vishal and Arya

Diwali 2021 saw the release of two Kollywood movies. One is the much awaited Annaatthe starring Superstar Rajinikanth and another titled Enemy featuring Tamil actors Arya and Vishal. 

While Annaatthe received lukewarm response from the audience, Enemy has received rave reviews. On the other hand, Annaatthe has received lower ratings than Enemy on IMDB.

As per reports,  IMDB has given a 9.4 rating for Enemy, while Annaatthe has got 4.5 rating. It won't be wrong to say that Vishal's Enemy is going to beat Annaatthe's box office collections too. Enemy is an action thriller written and directed by Anand Shankar and produced by Vinod Kumar under  Mini Studios banner. The film features Vishal, Arya, Mirnalini Ravi, Mamta Mohandas, and Prakash Raj in the lead roles. 

Enemy is the story about two childhood friends who turn enemies because of ego and jealousy. In their early teens, Chozhan (Vishal) and Rajiv (Arya) are trained by Rajiv's father, an ex-CBI officer (Prakash Raj), to join the police force. However, unexpected circumstances results in them going their separate ways. Chozhan becomes a department store owner while Rajiv becomes an underground hitman. Destiny unites them again, and they decide fight head-on. The plot of Enemy is based on the battle between them and who wins the fight.
