Sampoornesh Babu on Bazaar Rowdy, Mohan Babu Dialogues and Upendra Movie

Is there a person in the Telugu states, who is not familiar with the name burning star Sampoornesh Babu? His name itself brings a big smile on the faces of people. After a long gap of two years, Sampoornesh Babu is back with a bang to entertain all of us in his upcoming film 'Baazar Rowdy'. Currently, Sampoo is busy with film promotions.  In an exclusive interaction with Sakshipost, Sampoornesh Babu shared a few interesting facts about the film.

Your next Bazaar Rowdy is an old film title of Chiranjeevi movie

I was very happy when I heard that the makers were considering the title Bazaar Rowdy for my film because that particular Rowdy tag is very powerful. We have seen many films during the 90s and all of them were smash hits at the box office I was pretty excited when they finalized the title of the film.

You escaped a major accident during the shoot of Bazaar. How did your family react?

I had a narrow escape from getting my leg hurt. I'm being extra cautious about everything after the incident. 

When big films are heading to OTT, your Bazaar Rowdy is hitting theatres? Was it your choice or the filmmakers?

I want to entertain the audience. I don't mind my film getting released in theatres or OTT.  Luckily, my producer dreamt about releasing the film in theatres and it happened to be Bazaar Rowdy. I'm happy with it.

How do you feel when people call you a burning star?
 

I feel blessed, because I don't have any film background. I'm a self made person and I wholeheartedly thank the audience and fans for supporting and loving me unconditionally.

Who's your inspiration?
I don't have any particular star as such, but I love Mohan Babu's dialogue delivery. A seed that was planted in me to become an actor was Upendra movie, I watched it many times.

What are your upcoming projects?

I have completed the shooting for two to three films and they are in the post-production stage

Sampoornesh is all set to appear next in Cauliflower after Baazaar Rowdy, which is likely to be released by end of this year. Sampoornesh Babu concludes the chat by wishing a Very Happy Birthday to our beloved actor Megastar Chiranjeevi, which is on August 22, 2021. 

He is awaiting the response to his film as his weekend schedule is packed with Rakhi Celebrations.
