Salaar Surprise: Prashanth Neel Ropes in Jyothika to Play Prabhas' Sister?

After KGF director Prashanth Neel announced the pan-India project - Salaar with Pabhas the movie's expectations skyrocketed. Salaar continues to trend with some news of gossip about the film's cast and crew. The latest buzz surrounding the film is that Jyothika may be cast as Prabhas' sister. Earlier, Ramya Krishna's name was doing the rounds that she would be playing a key role in Salaar. Prabhas fans are waiting in excitement and anticipation about the official announcement from the Salaar team. 

According to rumours, Prashanth Neel has narrated the script to Jyothika and she liked the story. However, it seems Jyothika has put her decision on hold. Jyothika selects films unless and until there is a significant role. We can say that Prabhas and Jyothika's combination as brother and sister on the silver screen, would surely be welcomed by the audience and Prabhas' fans as they always seek something new.

An official confirmation on Jyothika joining the Salaar team is awaited from the producer's end.

Salaar is an upcoming Indian action thriller film written and directed by Prashanth Neel, starring Prabhas and Shruti Haasan. The film is produced by Vijay Kiragandur under Hombale Films. Shot in Kannada and Telugu languages, the film will also be dubbed in Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam. The music is composed by Ravi Basrur while the cinematography is handled by Bhuvan Gowda. The film is scheduled for a theatrical release on 14 April 2022.
