There's no denying the fact that OTT has become a big platform for movie buffs. Not only movie buffs, even filmmakers are also making films and opting for a digital release, keeping in mind the current COVID situation. Big ticket and small films are being released on various OTT platforms recently.
If you are waiting or guessing about which film we are going to be talking about now, the movie is- Alanti Sitralu. The film is produced by Supreeth C Krishna, Rahul Reddy D, Lokku Srivarun under I&I Arts, Cosmicray Productions banner.
Alanti Sitralu is gearing up for digital premiere from September 24th onwards and the digital rights have been bagged by Zee5. The film will be available for the movie buffs on Zee5 from tonight (Thursday) onwards.
Story : The tale is about four people who are clueless about their careers. Ajay Kumar Kathurvar (Yash) is a boxer in the film. Shwetta Parashar (Pallavi) is a 40-year-old sex worker. Yash Puri as (Raag) is a guitarist and Prawin Yendamuri (Dilip) is a gangster in the film.
Kathurvar suffers from physiological problems and Shweta is in confusion about how to lead her life. Yash Puri falls in love with the sex worker who doesn't have any vision about life. Dilip gives up his criminal activities to take care of his daughter after his wife dies.
How the four people meet their destination…What are the consequences they face when they try to rebuild their careers, forms the crux of the story. The movie contains adult content and cannot come under the family category.
Performances: The cast is new and most of them have made their debut with Alanti Sitralu. Shwetta Parashar, Prawin Yendamuri, Yash Puri, Tanvi Akaanksha, Ajay Kumar Kathurvar and few others did justice to their characters.
Analysis: It's a slightly confusing film where one cannot quite gather what's happening in the film.The complexity of the charecters and their subsequent The film narration is also very slow paced. However the background music is one of the highlights of the film.
Verdict: Alanti Sitralu is just a one-time watch.
