From the past two months, if you are the one who closely observed the MAA election 2021 drama, then here is some twist for you all. There was a war going on between Prakash Raj, Vishnu, and other celebrities about MAA association elections. Earlier, actors Jeevitha Rajasekhar and Hema, who have recently been outspoken regarding the development of the Movie Artistes Association, have decided to join Prakash Raj's panel rather than run against him in the upcoming elections.

Jeevitha had announced her candidacy for the position of MAA general secretary, while Hema was running for vice-president. Prakash Raj revealed 25 members of his panel on Friday, some of whom are contesting for various posts in the artists' organisation. Meka Srikanth is competing for the position of executive vice-president, with Benerjee and Hema contesting for the position of MAA vice-president. While Jeevitha Rajasehar is running for general secretary, actresses Uttej and Anitha Chowdary are standing for joint secretaries, while senior character actor Nagineedu for treasurer.

"I came here to serve the film industry. I want to serve my fellow artists and industry people. During my earlier interaction with the media, I came with a few friends from the cinema industry who weren’t my panel members actually. Now, I have decided to announce the members in my list today. " said Prakash Raj. He added that he asked Hima that they should all stand and unite as one team, and Hima immediately accepted it and she said she wanted to be on panel. "Coming to Jeevitha, I explained our agenda and strategy as to how to go about in the MAA elections. After a detailed explanation of two hours, she got convinced and agreed to contest from my panel". Prakash Raj said.

Prakash Raj appears to have a clean path ahead of him, since his chances of winning the MAA elections are quite strong. Tollywood big shots, like Megastar Chiranjeevi, have already thrown their support behind Prakash Raj. The struggle currently looks to be a triangular one between Prakash Raj's panel, CVL Narasimha Rao, and Manchu Vishnu.
