Bollywood diva Deepika is set to make her debut in Telugu with Nag Ashwin's untitled film with Prabhas. Now speculations are doing the rounds that Deepika is no longer a part of the project. It is being said on social media that Deepika has walked out of the film. The reason behind hints that Prabhas' yet-to-be titled film is being delayed more than expected.
Last year, Deepika was ready to be part of the project but Prabhas has started working on Prashanth Neel's Salaar and Om Raut's Adipurush. It could take two to three years for Prabhas to complete these two movies.
As Prabhas' untitled film shoot has been postponed, Deepika is believed to have given her dates to Hrithik Roshan’s ‘Fighter’ leading to speculations and rumours that she is not part of the Prabhas film.
Responding to these rumours, producer Swapna Dutt clarified that just by giving bulk dates to Hirthik Roshan's film by no means indicates that she is walking out of the film, putting to rest all these rumours.
This news has made Prabhas' fans super happy as they are all geared up to watch the Baahubali actor with the Bollywood superstar's first entry in Telugu with him.
As per earlier reports director Nag Ashwin asked Deepika Padukone to allot her dates towards the end of the year. And she agreed for the same. Earlier during an interview, Nag Ashwin had said, “I am very excited to see Deepika Padukone play this character. The chemistry between Prabhas and Deepika Padukone will be one of the main highlights of this science fiction drama and the story between them, I believe something the movie lovers will carry in their hearts for years to come.”
Last year in October the Vyjayanthi Movies house tweeted that legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan would be joining Prabhas and Deepika Padukone for the film. The senior actor also confirmed his presence in the movie in his tweet.

Director Nag Aswhin said that Amitabh's was not a guest role or a special appearance...but a full length role so important, that his character's name was the working title of an early draft.

On the career front, Deepika will next be seen in '83' whose release was stalled due to the COVID pandemic lockdown. The film is produced by Deepika Padukone, Kabir Khan, Vishnu Vardhan Induri, Sajid Nadiadwala, Phantom Films, Reliance Entertainment and 83 Film Ltd. The Reliance Entertainment and PVR Pictures film is slated to release in April in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
Prabhas meanwhile kickstarted 2021 with the shooting of his film Salaar with KGF director Prashanth Neel under the Hombale Films. He has completed shooting of Radhe Shyam with Pooja Hegde which is getting ready for a summer release.
