Rebel star Prabhas and Superstar Mahesh Babu are among the biggest superstars in Tollywood. So far, there has not been a single new movie release of either of the actors due to the delay of movie production caused by the pandemic. Now, with everyone getting vaccinated, the filmmakers are hoping that the situation would return to normalcy by the end of this year. Many big-budget films are expected to hit theatres beginning next January. If reports are to be believed, Prabhas' Radhe Shyam, which was supposed to release on July 30, 2021, is likely to get postponed to next year.
Radhe Shyam is expected to have a theatrical release next year during Sankranthi. It is known that Mahesh Babu's Sarkaru Vaari Paata makers have already reserved the Sankranthi slot at the time of film announcement. Radhe Shyam and Sarkaru Vaari Paata makers are aiming to release the movie in the first quarter of next year. If theatres are allowed to run to full capacity, then Radhe Shyam and Sarkaru Vaari Paata are expected to hit the big screens around Sankranthi 2022. There is no official confirmation yet from the makers' end.
However, if this does happen, then it will be a clash of the titans. Imagine films of two big stars releasing on the same day. Wouldn't that be exciting?
Prabhas' Radhe Shaym is directed by Radha Krishna and produced by UV Creations. Pooja Hegde would be seen as the female lead in the film. Mahesh Babu's Sarkaru Vaari Paata is being helmed by Parasuram of Geetha Govindam fame. Keerthy Suresh will be seen as the female lead opposite Mahesh Babu.
