The Telangana State Education Department has taken a key decision. The state has decided to conduct offline classes for tenth-class students. Sources inform that it has been decided to conduct physical classes for tenth class students from April 8. It is known that schools and colleges, which were closed due to coronavirus pandemic, were reopened on February 1. However, as the spread of the coronavirus increased, the situation worsened as more students in schools became infected with COVID. The state government had announced that schools and colleges will be temporarily closed from March 23. The Telangana government has now made it clear that it is launching online classes for students again.

However, the annual exams for Grade 10 students are scheduled for May 17-26. This means there are only 35 days left for exams. Live classes were on for just 44 working days in February and March. It is learnt that there is a lot of syllabus still pending to be taught. The Students are facing many issues during the online classes. It is in this context that the Department of Education wants to hold as many direct classes as possible, at least for tenth graders. As per the information available, the Department of Education has decided to conduct classes for 28 days from April 8 till the examinations.
