Telangana Is The Most Fastest Growing State In The Country: KCR

Raising the old rhetoric of separate statehood, the chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao said people had doubts about the formation of Telangana. KCR, who was visiting the Narayankhed town of Sangareddy district on Monday, said it took 14 years of sustained struggle to realize the dream of a separate state. 

He laid a foundation stone for Sangameshwara Lift Irrigation project ( SLIP )and Basaveshwara Lift Irrigation project ( BLIP ) today. While addressing the people, KCR said his government was providing electricity to all the households in the state 24 hours a day. There’s no drinking water problem in the state and it was possible only through the strength of people, he said. 

Fastest growing state 

The TRS leader further said that previously Sangareddy was lagging in the development. He asserted Telangana is growing as a number one state in India. The Telangana chief minister stated the construction works of lift irrigation projects, which are being built with an estimated cost of Rs 4,000 crores, would be completed in 18 months. 

Rs 50 crores fund has been allocated for the developmental activities in Sangareddy and Zaheerabad. In Sangareddy, Rs 25 crores were given to each municipality, he said. The Telangana CM also said within 10 days a foundation stone will be laid for Sangareddy Medical College.

Referring to the religious polarization, KCR said the country is not going in the right direction. He said attempts were being made to sow discord between castes and religious groups. The CM said he would stand for the farmers with his government’s flagship programmes like Rythu Beema and Rythu Bandhu. KCR said his Maharashtra counterpart Uddhav Thackeray praised the TRS government’s Rythu Bandhu welfare scheme for farmers.
