Radisson Hotel Drugs Case: Director Krish Gives his Sample, Result Awaited

The Radisson hotel drugs case shocked the film and political fraternity with the names of several high-profile people surfaced. Director Krish Jagarlamudi, who was at the Radisson hotel room where drugs were consumed on the fateful day, appeared on Friday before the Cyberabad Police for investigation.

After questioning Krish, police conducted medical tests for him and collected his blood and urine samples for examination. Earlier, Krish responded to the drug allegations. He informed the police that he was in Mumbai and when the police had summoned him for questioning. Meanwhile, Krish filed a petition in the High Court for anticipatory bail. Subsequently, Krish appeared before the Cyberabad police for investigation on Friday. The results of his tests are awaited.

The case took a significant turn with the blood samples of the main accused Gajjala Vivekanand (owner of Radisson hotel), Nirbhay, and film producer Kedarnath testing positive for drugs. The permission for judicial custody of the main accused wasn't granted as the police failed to recover drugs during the police raid on the hotel.

Meanwhile, Lishi, Sandeep, Shweta, and Nilesh who were also present at the party in the Radisson hotel room have not appeared for the police investigation until now. Questions arise as to why they fear if they haven't used drugs. Allegations are rife that delayed urine analyses may disappear the drug traces from the body. It is alleged that the suspects are evading investigation in order to evade arrest due to fears of drug traces. Police are considering to trace them down.

Police suspect that Nilesh fled abroad evading investigation and arrest, hence they issued a lookout circular against him. 160 CRPC Notices are pasted to the homes of the accused calling them to appear for investigation.
