Teenmaar Mallanna was arrested by the Chilkalguda Police on Friday. According to the reports, Mallanna demanded money from an astrologer, Sannidhanam Lakshmikant Sharma, who is a resident of Madhura Nagar, Chilkalguda. He filed a complaint with the police stating that Teenmaar Mallanna threatened to kill him if he fails to pay money. In his complaint, Lakshmikant Sharma also stated that Mallanna also threatened to spread fake news about him through his YouTube channel.

Following a complaint from the victim, the Police arrested Teenmaar Mallanna and he was in remand.

Now, Q News Channel fomer bureau chief Chiluka Praveen made sensational comments on Teenmaar Mallanna. He alleged that Teenmaar Mallanna earned lots of money through illegal means and said that in name of journalism, he is earning money.

He spoke to the media on Saturday along with former employees of the Q News YouTube channel at the Somajiguda Press Club. He said that he had already brought some of the issues in front of the people and will bring a few more to the notice of people in the next coming days. He said that Teenmaar Mallanna was arrested as he demanded Rs. 5 lakh from astrologer Lakshmikant Sharma.

Secunderabad Civil Court remanded Teenmaar Mallanna for 14 days. He was shifted to Chanchalguda jail. Teenmaar Mallanna appeared before Secunderabad civil court judge virtually on Saturday morning and he was remanded till September 9th.
