Hyderabad: Ahead of announcement of poll schedule, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is visiting Hyderabad on Friday, Match 15, 2024. The prime minister will hold a 5-km roadshow at Malkajgiri parliamentary constituency and the party has chalked out a route map already.

Riding on the success in the recent Telangana Assembly elections, the saffron party has turned its focus on Malkajgiri, Chevella and Hyderabad lok sabha constituencies. PM Modi had visited the city a few days ago where he laid foundations and inaugurated developmental projects worth Rs 9,021 crore at Patelguda in Patancheru mandal.

The prime minister is also scheduled to address a public meeting at Nagarkurnool on March 16 and a similar public meeting at Jagtiyal on March 18, 2024. Recently, Union Home Minister Amit Shah addressed a huge political rally in the state’s capital.

In view of Modi’s road show, the police have imposed traffic restrictions in and around the Malkajgiri parliamentary constituency. Flying of drones and paragliders between Mirzalguda and Malkajgiri crossroads will be banned during the roadshow, Rachakonda police commissioner Tarun Josh said. He added that action will be taken against the violators under various sections of the IPC.
