Telangana government started the Dalit Bandhu scheme and the main aim of the scheme was to empower Dalits. On August 16th, KCR launched the Dalit Bandhu scheme in the Huzurabad constituency on a pilot basis where the bypolls are going to take place. After the launch of the scheme, the opposition party leaders and many others raised their voices against Dalit Bandhu and asked to launch a similar scheme that would benefit BCs, Girijans, etc.,

Succumbing to pressure, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao said that government would also come up with Bandhu Scheme for BCs and other economically weaker sections of the upper castes in a phased manner. Now, the leaders are coming up with one more demand. They are demanding to bring back those who have been stranded in Gulf. It is all known knowledge that many people from Telangana have been to Gulf countries and they are eking out a livelihood by doing some odd jobs for meagre wages. Some of the migrant workers are facing a lot of problems in the Gulf Nations. Now, the leaders demand KCR to launch 'Gulf Bandhu'.

On September 2nd, a meeting is going to be conducted under the leadership of 'Gulf Workers' Association' and many Gulf returnees are going to attend the meeting. It is said that they are going to organize the meeting and want the government to help the Gulf returnees by providing a financial aid.

The state government has been implementing schemes like sheep distribution, washing machines for the washermen community, free power to saloons run by Nayee Brahmins, etc.,
