It's 46 Degree Celsius In Telangana

HYDERABAD: Telangana continues to reel under harsh conditions as the mercury soared to 46 degree Celsius in certain districts of the state on Tuesday. Over the last four days, the maximum temperature in Telangana's capital Hyderabad has been over 42 degree Celsius.

The area wise temperatures recorded on Tuesday by the Telangana State Development Planning Society (TSDPS) showed that several parts witnessed mercury levels soaring beyond 45 degrees. Jainbad in Adilabad district recorded 46.0 degree Celsius, followed by Bela (45.9 degree Celsius), Palwancha in Bhadar-Kothagudem district (43.1 degree Celsius) and Saidabad in Hyderabad (43.4 degree Celsius).

The TSDPS weather forecast update for the next three days (May 25-28) predicted that dry weather is expected for the next three days and heat wave like conditions are expected to continue in places over Adilabad, Kumuram Bheem, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagtial, Karimnagar, Mulugu, Jayashankar, Bhadadri-Kothagudem, Khammam, Nalgonda and Suryapet districts.

Meanwile, a weather warning from the Regional Meteorological Centre said heat wave conditions were very likely in a few pockets in districts including Jagtial, Mancherial, Mulugu and others.
