Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has come to the rescue of internet sensation and owner of a roadside food stall Kumari Aunty a day after the police shut down her business on Tuesday owing to the traffic woes in Madhapur. Kumari Aunty is quite popular on social media for her ‘Two livers extra..” video.

Kumari Aunty has been running a roadside eatery nearby ITC Kohinoor Junction. The food joint is visited by many including the techies from software companies in the vicinity. The overcrowding of food joint would often cause traffic jams on the main road leading to the IT corridor. These traffic jams reportedly prompted the police to take action, shutting down Kumari Aunty's food stall. The police suggested Kumari Aunty to find a suitable location and relocate her eatery.

The furore over the shutting down of Kumari Aunty’s business attracted the attention of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy who ordered the state police chief (DGP) and urban development ministry to revoke their decision and allow her to continue to run her business. He also said that he would visit the famous food stall soon.
