The number of coronavirus cases are increasing rapidly in Telangana. The second wave is showing its effect, the consequences of which is sometimes even fatal.
It is being said that Children are the most infected in the second wave. The state government is taking all the measures to control the spread of coronavirus.
For the well being of children, the Department of Women Development and Child Welfare has started a helpline to assist the Child Care Institutions (CCIs) in the view of the spread of coronavirus in the state.
Information related to preventive measures and other details can be collected from the helpline number 040-23733665 between 9 am to 6 pm.
Divya Devarajan, Commissioner of state women and child department, said that a helpline was set up to provide necessary assistance for the care of children. The helpline number is 040-23733665. She said the helpline number will be operational on all the working days from 9 am to 6 pm.
She further added that the helpline would provide appropriate guidance to the staff involved in taking care of COVID patients. She said the helpline was set up to coordinate with other institutions so as to protect children from getting infected with the dangerous coronavirus.
