KCR Absence At Statue Of Equality Opening Is PMO's Instructions, Says KTR

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao's son KT Rama Rao revealed that Prime Minister's office had sent a clear message saying the CM shall not come for the inauguration of Ramanujacharya's Statue of Equality in February. KCR didn't meet PM Modi when he came to Hyderabad for the inauguration. 

KTR in an interview with NDTV, to a question about how to see the Governor facing humiliation, to this KTR answered, "I don't see any humiliation because you can't be a governor and BJP well-wisher. Because governor who was appointed here before the day she was running the state of Tamil Nadu as a state BJP Chief. Once you become the governor, you are expected to rise above politics."

He further stated that the speech made by Governor on 26th January should typically has to be approved by the council of ministers as per decorum but she said according to her wish. He asserted that Governor spoke about medical colleges that have been sanctioned by PM Modi but in reality, no single college was sanctioned by Centre.

When questioned about not even a single IAS officer, minister met when the Governor visited a couple of places in Telangana. To this KTR answered, "I'm unaware of any such issues, can ask the chief secretary. As per protocol who has to go, they will go. There is no any such insult."

After this, KTR spoke about KCR's absence at the inauguration of the Statue Of Equality, he said that "They have got instructions stating that CM shouldn't come. would you call that an insult?"
