Syed Khalil, a 20-year-old youth was arrested by the police as he posted a picture of himself with two swords in two hands on his WhatsApp. Going into the details, Syed Khalil of Basheerbagh Bank Colony is a plumber by profession. He recently took a photo of himself holding two swords and has posted it on his WhatsApp. The photo went viral in no time and it came to the notice of Task Force police.

Police found the details of Syed Khalil and he was arrested on Saturday. According to the police, Khalil said that he had bought two talwars from Ankit Lal, a 21-year-old youth who was working as a washerman at the Malakpet Police Hospital.

According to the police, Ratan Rajkumar, a 55-year-old man of Kagaziguda in Asif Nagar, runs a gifts shop in Siddiamber Bazar. As there were no profits due to the COVID-19 pandemic, he bought swords and daggers from Delhi and have been selling them in his shop for the last few months.

The swords were secretly sold and Ankit Lal used to take a commission from Ratan. Ankit Lal told Khalil about his business, the latter took two swords from the former for selling them. Khalil took a picture of himself holding two swords and shared it on his WhatsApp.

Police arrested Khalil and started the investigation. Police on Sunday raided Ratan Rajkumar's godown and seized swords and daggers. The accused were handed over to Saifabad police for further investigation.
