Hyderabad Police Job Drive for Women

Commissioner of Police, Anjani Kumar, handed out letters to the selected candidates after Hyderabad Police arranged a job drive for women. The drive is expected to provide employment to nearly 400 women. 

Speaking to the media on Saturday, the commissioner stated that Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao has made women's protection and security a major priority.

"Today, we organised a large job connect mela for women in Hyderabad's old city. Chelapura, the women's police station here, is the campus, and we expect more than 300-400 women to be hired. Since the foundation of the new state of Telangana, Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao has made women's safety and security a major priority, not only in the city, but throughout the state," he stated. 

He added, "Through the efforts of She teams and the Bharosa centre, we have demonstrated that Hyderabad and Telangana are the safest places in the country." 

"According to a recent poll done by the India Police Foundation, Hyderabad and Telangana state rank first in most aspects.  They are ranked second in several of the metrics. When we maintain such high standards, we feel proud," he said.
