Finance and Health Minister T. Harish Rao is going to pay a visit to the erstwhile Warangal district on Saturday. He is not only going to launch the TS Health Profile at the Government Area Hospital in Mulugu town but also lays the foundation stone for the district hospital, Radiology Lab, and inaugurate the Paediatric unit in the same hospital.

Harish will inaugurate the "Mahila Sports Tournament" at Narsampet town in the Warangal district and also lay the foundation stone for the construction of the 250-bed hospital, T-Diagnostics Centre, and 25 Health sub-center buildings.

According to the reports, Harish Rao will also lay the foundation stone for a 100-bed hospital at Parkal town in Hanamkonda district. He would address the public gatherings at Narsampet as well as Parkal towns.

On Thursday, addressing a gathering after inaugurating RIMS Super Specialty Hospital, Harish Rao said that Telangana stood in third place in the country in extending the best health services. He further stated that even the NITI Aayog has appreciated the work of the Telangana government in the health sector.

He quoted, "We are working to improve the health conditions in Telangana as part of that Super Specialty Hospital has been opened at RIMS. MRI machine will also be sanctioned shortly. The pathology lab was already inaugurated. Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao has directed to extend Basti Dawakhanas will be extended to even districts."
