Four NRIs Test Positive For COVID-19 In Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: Four NRIs hailing from Nizamabad district of Telangana were tested positive for coronavirus here on Monday. Reportedly, they have returned from Dubai.

According to media reports, after positive results all four of them have been admitted to Gandhi Hospital.

The NRIs are identified are native of Kammarpally, Bheemgal, Sirikonda and Jakranpally mandals of Nizamabad, arrived in Hyderabad in a special flight from Dubai airport on Sunday, reports said.

Upon arrival, the officials at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Shamshabad conducted Covid-19 tests after they were showing symptoms.

The results were out on Monday and all four passengers were declared as Covid-19 positive. They were immediately admitted in Gandhi hospital where they are currently undergoing treatment.

As per reports, there are currently sic Nizamabad patients who are undergoing treatment at Gandhi Hospital. Among them five are NRIs and one is migrant worker who was tested and declared infected with virus afters he arrived in a train from Mumbai. 

Meanwhile, three fatalities and 66 positive cases of coronavirus were reported in Telangana on Monday pushing the state's tally to 1,920.
