ED Grills Vijay Deverakonda Over Liger Remuneration

Hyderabad: Telugu actor Vijay Devarakonda on Wednesday appeared before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) over his remuneration for Liger movie. 

Puri Jagannadh and Charmy Kaur, the producer and director of the movie were questioned previously on November 18. They were questioned over violation of Foreign Exchange Money Act (FEMA) and their investments on the film.

There are allegations that money has been transferred from the accounts of several political leaders abroad. The ED reportedly had found that money invested in Liger was sent to Dubai first and from there funds were returned and was used to make the movie.
