Doctor Alleges Sexual Harassment In Bhupalpally
BHUPALPALLY: In a shocking incident, a woman doctor accused District Medical and Health Officer (DMHO) of Jayashankar-Bhupalpally of allegedly sexually assaulting her. She is working at Chelpur PHC in Ghanapur mandal, according to a leading daily.
The lady doctor registered a complaint with the police on Thursday against the DMHO.
However, the accused Dr Gopal Rao refuted all the charges against him, the daily reported and accused her of making false allegations against him.
“Recently, after receiving plaints that she was irregular and had misbehaved with the staff, I visited the PHC for a surprise inspection. However, she was not on duty,” she was quoted saying by the daily.
“We decided to take action against and this is perhaps why she is making baseless claims,” he added.
He said that he will cooperate with the probe.
