6 Arrested as Hyderabad Police Bust Gang of Drug Peddlers

Hyderabad: The police have apprehended six persons on the charges of drug-peddinging at a city pub in Gachibowli area of Hyderabad on Saturday. The detained gang was found to be selling chocolates laced with marijuana to customers in Novotel Artistry, Air Live, Club Rogue and Club Rock pubs in Madhapur. 

During the raid, the police officials seized 10 grams of MDMA/Ecstasy and packets of cocaine from a woman drug peddler who would procure drugs from Benglauru, Mumbai and Goa. According to police, Mithun and Kongala Priya, who were involved in the drug business, had formed a gang with four more members to expand their business. Meanwhile, the drug suppliers identified as Usman, Azeem and Abdullah are absconding. The police have registered a case and the investigation is on.
