4 Deaths, 117 New Coronavirus Cases In Telangana

HYDERABAD: In yet another day of maximum coronavirus cases, As many as 117 people tested positive for COVID-19 even as four deaths were reported in Telangana on Thursday. With this, the overall death toll rose to 67. The total number of cases in Telangana has now risen to 2,256.

According to a bulletin from the state government, of the 117 cases reported on Thursday, 66 are of those from within the state while 49 are of Saudi Arabia returnees. Two other cases are of migrants. Of the total positive cases, 1,908 are of people within the state and 175 are of migrants, who arrived from other states while 143 are of Saudi Arabia evacuees. About 30 other cases are of evacuees from other foreign countries. The state currently has 844 active cases.

As per the bulletin, 24 patients have been cured of the dreaded coronavirus and were discharged from the designated hospitals taking the total discharged patients in Telangana to 1,345.
