What is IPL Fantasy League? Check Rules Of Game, Points System

IPL is a huge festival for Cricket lovers. The Indian Premier League is here and the IPL Fantasy league will continue on the Indian Sports Platform, Dream 11.  Fantasy league is not a new concept but understanding the rules before playing the match is essential. As in IPL, there are new changes in the IPL Fantasy league too. Here are the new changes in IPL Fantasy league 2021

1.       Free Uncapped players

Free transfer of uncapped players was one of the major rules in the IPL Fantasy league. In this new rule, the transfer player will not be deducted from the pool of transfers. So, utilize these uncapped player transfers and earn more points.

2.       Match Level Transfers

In the previous edition, match transfers were allowed only before the match-day but in this season transfers are allowed before every match. It is the best use for participants to alter the players if there is a double-headed match

3.       Boosters

Double-Up Booster: It will double the points that a participant earns in the match. When the majority of Fantasy Team players are in action, this booster can be used.

Super Transfer Booster: It will allow the Participants to make unlimited transfers in there for one game. Better to use this option when there are fewer players in your team for the upcoming match.

IPL Fantasy League Rules: 

Up to five batsmen, a minimum of three 

Up to three all-rounders, a minimum of one

Up to two wicketkeepers, a minimum of one

Up to five bowlers, minimum three

One uncapped Indian

Up to four overseas players

Maximum 7 cricketers from any particular

 IPL Fantasy Points System

How a bowler scores:
For every wicket-10 points, except run-outs
Four bonus points for taking 4 wickets in a match
Eight bonus points for taking 5 wickets in a match
For every maiden over –four points 
How a batsman scores: 
For every run- half a point
 For a boundary- half a point
For every six- one point
Four points for scoring a half-century
Eight points for a century
Two negative points for being dismissed for a duck
