Bengaluru: It was long overdue. It finally happened during a grand unboxing event at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. Royal Challengers Bangalore was rebranded to Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and it was witnessed by the members of RCB’s men’s and women’s teams as well as the crazy fans of the IPL franchise.

Stylish batsman was the cynosure of eyes at the event. The massive crowd went crazy when Kohli took the mike and started speaking in Kannada language, “I just want to let everyone know, Idu RCB'ya Hosa Adhayaya,”he said. [translation: This is a new chapter of RCB].

The event was a special occasion as RCB’s women’s team had won its first Women’s Premier League (WPL) title. The RCB-W team had defeated Delhi Capitals in the WPL 2024 final on Sunday.
